Benavitch Scholars for 2016 announced

St Catharine’s is delighted to announce that it will be welcoming five students to Cambridge as Benavitch scholars in October 2016. This year’s cohort come from five different Universities across four continents.

MBA Scholars

  • Artem Lazurenko (London School of Economics and Political Science – Politics)
  • Rowan Laurence (University of Auckland – Marketing)
  • Haina Wang  (University of Southern California - Economics and Communication)
  • Wenjie Zhu  (Karlsruhe Institute of Technology – Mechanical Engineering)

PhD Scholar

Shi Tang will be pursuing a PhD in Management Studies having just completed an MPhil in Innovation, Strategy and Organisation here at Cambridge. She also holds a BA in Biological Science from Tsinghua University.

Due to a generous bequest from the late Maurice and Natalie Benavitch, St Catharine's is able to offer annual scholarships of £10,000 to up to five MBA and PhD students in Management Studies each year. The scholarships are awarded on merit to those who show the potential to become leaders in the practice or study of management and business.
