St Catharine's alumnus rows to Olympic gold

Congratulations to St Catharine's alumnus George Nash (2008) and the rest of the Great Britain men's coxless four boat who won Gold at the Olympic Games today in Rio de Janeiro.

This victory follows Nash's bronze medal at the London Olympics in 2012 in the men's coxless pair, as well as world championships in the men's eight in 2013 and 2015 and in the coxless four in 2014.

He also rowed in the Cambridge University Blue Boat in 2010, 2011, and 2013, serving as CUBC President in his final year.

The entire College community offers its best wishes to George and his teammates on this outstanding achievement.
