Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for a College Teaching Officer (Lecturer) post in Economics tenable for five years in the first instance, to begin from a date no later than 1 October 2017.  The post-holder will be required to undertake 12 hours of small group College teaching per week (for 20 weeks) during Terms, and will be expected to assume a role as one of the College Directors of Studies in Economics, for which additional payment is made.  The post-holder will be required to teach one or more of microeconomics, macroeconomics or econometrics in the Cambridge Economics Tripos.  The post-holder will be required to undertake and to publish high quality research in Economics in excellent academic journals.  College Lecturers are normally elected to a College Official Fellowship, which carries a range of other benefits and responsibilities.

Salary: Remuneration will be on the Cambridge University Lecturer scale, equivalent to Spine points 49-57 with the stipend on appointment set according to experience; the scale currently starts from £39,324.
