Dr Christopher Rauh's research mainly deals with topics related to inequality and intergenerational mobility. In order to understand effects of possible policy interventions, it is a prerequisite to understand through which mechanisms inequalities arise and persist. He completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Applied Sciences Aachen and Curtin University Perth. He obtained his PhD in 2014 from Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona, and spent part of his Master's studies at University of Bielefeld and Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne.
