Recent sporting successes

Following a recent spate of Catz sporting successes, here is a roundup of some of our key achievements. Well done to all players and teams!

Athletics

At the Varsity Athletics on 7 May, three St Catharine’s students brought home victories:

• Anni Bates (2012) in High Jump (personal best)
• Priya Crosby (2010) in Steeplechase (personal best)
• Philip Crout (2013) in 5000m 

Hockey

Our dominance in collegiate hockey continues, with two out of four teams securing overall victories in cuppers.

Rugby

• Our women's team reached the cuppers final, where they sadly lost to Jesus 20-0.
• Following a second-round cuppers defeat, our men's team went on to win the plate tournament overall, beating Downing 20-17.
