Professor Donald Broom

Professor Donald Broom is the author of over 400 refereed scientific papers and twelve books. He has been a member of the Farm Animal Welfare Council, Home Office Animal Procedures Committee, National Committee on Seals, BBC Rural Affairs Committee and, over a 22 year period, the Chair or Vice Chair of: the E.U. Scientific Veterinary Committee on Animal Welfare, EU Scientific Committee on Animal Health and Animal Welfare, European Food Safety Authority Panel on Animal Health and Animal Welfare, and the World Organization for Animal Health Committee on Land Transport.
