St Catharine's graduate accommodation is all within easy reach of Cambridge city centre and the College's main site. All our residences are served well by local amenities, and are particularly convenient for either the University Library and Sidgwick Site or the Downing Site and Judge Business School. You'll be part of a graduate community, enabling you to stay sociable throughout your busy academic life.
Accommodation for incoming graduates
We aim to offer accommodation to all new single research students in their first year (on condition that they confirm their place before 1 September in the year of admission). Accommodtion in subsequent years is offered strictly subject to availability, however graduates have a good chance of residing in College accommodation for at least two years should they so wish. We also have a limited amount of accommodation for couples.
Eligible students will be asked to indicate whether they wish to live in College accommodation when their College membership is confirmed, with accommodation offers made once admission is confirmed by the Graduate Admission Office. If you express a preference for a particular residence, we'll try to satisfy it, but please remember that accommodation is allocated on a first come-first served basis.
