Annual Photography Competition Winners Announced!

St Catharine's College once again held its annual photography competition for all of its Members, and we were astounded to receive nearly 90 entries! The theme this year was "Hidden St Catharine's", which meant looking for unusual angles or College quirks that you might not notice day to day.

Judged by Sir Mark and Lady Welland, the winner this year was Postgraduate Student Chris Watts, who took this vibrant photo of our iconic gate:

In second place, undergraduate Daniel Garlick also chose to capture the gate from a slightly different angle:

Our porter Simon Durrant then came third with a photo of our organ in the chapel:

We also had a number of highly commended photos. Congratulations to Sam Cole, Tom Markham, Frances St George-Hyslop, Bede Frank, Andrea Chlebikova, Xue Wang and Yui Kajita for their entries:

Thank you to everyone who entered and made the judging extremely difficult! We look forward to next year!
