Former St Catharine’s student has undergraduate journal article published

St Catharine’s alumnus, Jeson Ng (2014), has had his undergraduate dissertation published in Al-Masāq, Journal of the Medieval Mediterranean (https://doi.org/10.1080/09503110.2019.1584453).

Jeson, who studied Asian & Middle Eastern Studies during his time at St Catharine’s, wrote his dissertation on Women of the Crusades: The Constructedness of the Female Other, 1100–1200. 

Speaking of his achievement, Senior Tutor Dr Miranda Griffin said, “it is extremely rare for an undergraduate's dissertation to be published before they embark on a PhD, and this article in a respected journal is a true testament to Jeson’s exceptional scholarship”.
