St Catharine's Fellow Receives Career Recognition Award

On 29th August 2018 Professor Donald M. Broom, Emeritus Fellow of St Catharine's College and member of the Department of Veterinary Medicine, University of Cambridge, was presented with the Career Recognition Award for scientific studies of animal welfare and behaviour from the Consorcio de Universidades Mexicanas, Veterinary Medicine and Animal Science section. The presentation was made in Veracruz, Mexico by the Rector of the Universidad Veracruzana.

Professor Broom is the author of over 200 refereed scientific papers and seven books, and a member of the Home Office Animal Procedures Committee and the E.U. Scientific Committee on Animal Health and Animal Welfare.
