Casual Chef

Based in the heart of Cambridge, St Catharine’s College is looking to appoint a Casual Chef to join our busy, friendly Catering team, providing a first class service for our community. This post will assist the Head Chef in the development and delivery of all meals in College.

It is an exciting time for our College with the development of our ‘Central Spaces’ and later this year, the catering team will be moving into a new multi-million-pound kitchen, helping us to further improve our catering offer.

The ideal candidate will:

• Have a good breadth of experience, skills and achievements gained from working within a catering environment.
• Preparing and serving high quality meals to students, staff, Fellows and conference guests.
• Ensure the highest standards are maintained in order for us to continue to surprise and delight our customers.
• Ensure all hygiene, health and safety standards are adhered to and the College’s Health & Safety policy are complied with.
