Thank you to all our Members who supported St Catharine’s 2021 Telephone Campaign. Our team of 10 student callers spoke to over 600 alumni from all around the world. Students enjoyed updating Members on College news and hearing about their time at St Catharine's.

"Participating in the Telephone Fundraising Campaign was a fantastic experience. It was great to hear from Catz alumni and it was affirming to see how many Members were willing to support the College and its students."
We are delighted to announce that we have raised over £140,000 in 10 days for the Annual Fund, which strengthens and sustains St Catharine's for current and future generations by providing a world-class education for our students. This year the Telephone Campaign focused on raising unrestricted gifts, which allow the College to provide support to wherever the need is greatest. These gifts work to enable the College to fund its immediate priorities, support College life and students and implement a selective planned renewal of our buildings and spaces.

“I had lots of wonderful conversations about the power of languages and it was brilliant to hear about what other MML graduates did with their degrees, from teaching in Athens to volunteering in South Africa, and I'm excited to see where my own degree takes me! It was fantastic to hear about the welcoming alumni community that awaits current students, especially the many alumni events that take place around the world! As a final-year student many of my friends are awaiting funding and bursary decisions for postgraduate degrees at St Catharine's and I know that alumni generosity means they will be able to continue studying at the College.”
Thank you for your support of the Telephone Campaign this year. Your continued support will ensure we can achieve our campaign goals and enhance our students’ experiences for generations to come. We are grateful for your continued generosity.

“Going into the campaign, I was looking forward to swapping stories about life at Catz and Cambridge in general, and I would say I was far from disappointed. It was really a trip through the rich history of the college, getting to compare experiences between formals 50 years ago and today (which seemed to have not changed much at all), and being able to connect with alumni over cycling - I was pleased to hear that the times and meeting points for team rides are the same as they were 30 years ago! Overall, the calling campaign not only helped raise support and interest from the alumni towards College but also reminded me that I am part of a welcoming and connected community, something that has been hard to feel at times over the last year of relative isolation. The campaign even resulted in some direct connections with community members that I look forward to maintaining for years to come."
