How to book a space

By requesting a booking you are confirming that you have read and understood the risk assessment and that you will follow the mitigation measures.
Please use the form below to book an indoor space for your household.
Once you have submitted your booking request one of our team will get back to you with an allotted time and will indicate your location.
If you are booking an indoor space, please refer to the College’s guidance poster explaining how you can use these spaces safely.

Restrictions

At this time, we cannot offer indoor spaces to students who are self-isolating, in household isolation, with a confirmed positive diagnosis or who are displaying symptoms. Please contact the College Nurse or Welfare Officer for an individual review if you are struggling.

Given the spaces owned by the College are shared with others, we need to manage carefully when and how you access an appropriate space to mitigate any risk to other student households, staff and Fellows.

We have made available as many sessions as we feel able to, given the needs of other groups in our community to access the same spaces for a number of reasons.

Depending on the number of households, it may not be possible for every household to have time every day.

Protecting others during your exercise

Only share a pre-agreed session with others in your household.
Keep to pre-agreed times.
Be respectful of College staff, other students and Fellows when moving to and from your pre-agreed session.
You should use the hand sanitiser station at the entrance before entering indoor spaces and upon leaving.
Regularly hand sanitise before and after touching equipment / surfaces.
All equipment must be santised before and at the end of each session, within your allocated time slot.
All equipment to be returned to its relevant storage location.
No black soled trainers to be worn in the McGrath Centre.

What's included?

Find out what equipment is available in each area. Please do not move equipment between areas.

During the evenings and all weekend the McGrath Centre and JCR will be available to use, for your household, to watch films. There will be Netflix and Disney+ accounts available as well other free to air streaming services. The passwords will be provided at the start of your booking. Please be sensible with these, otherwise these options will be removed.

There is a selection of boards games that each household can borrow to be used in either a pre-booked social space or to take back to their household. These are available from the Porters’ Lodge.
