Women’s Rugby Union

Men’s Rugby Union

The University ‘Gown’ team secured their first win of 2022 against Cambridge RUFC’s ‘Town’ team at Grange Road on 2 February, with the match concluding 65-7. Kicks and tackling by Alex King was singled out in the match report. The Men’s team will next be in action on 16 February, when they take on the Royal Navy at Grange Road. (Varsity)

Men’s Football

“Both teams returned to form in style” on 22 January for the first College-level fixtures of 2022. The St Catharine’s first team beat Trinity’s first team 2-1, with goals courtesy of Daniel Sanchez (first-year Engineering undergraduate) and Chester Smith (second-year Maths undergraduate). Our second team also beat Christ’s second team 6-4. (The Kittbag)

Mixed Lacrosse

A bit of a rollercoaster this term for the College team: the first league-recognised win of the season thanks to a 4-3 victory over the Vets, followed by an “undeserved” 4-2 loss against a combined Pembroke-Selwyn team. (The Kittbag)

Women’s Hockey

Congratulations to Katherine Nicholls (a second-year Natural Sciences undergraduate) on being selected for the Women’s Blues squad for the 122nd University Hockey Match against Oxford University Hockey Club on 6 March at Southgate Hockey Centre. (Cambridge University Hockey Club)
