St Catharine's looks forward to welcoming new students this October

St Catharine's College is delighted to be welcoming a new cohort of undergraduates this October. We would like to congratulate them all on their exam results. 

A few successful applicants were featured in their local news; please see below links to the stories which were shared with us. 

Rachel Mckeown, from Merthyr Tydfil in Wales, is the first student from her college to go to Cambridge. She joins us to study Natural Sciences. Please read the article on Wales Online for more details. 

Arriving in the UK eight years ago, Sameeullah Shahabi did not speak any English, but has since received excellent A level results at his college in Lancashire; he will begin to read Medicine in October. For more on this story, please read the Guardian article or the Lancashire Post article
