In an effort to grow our educational outreach at St Catharine's College, Cambridge, we are starting to prepare a schools and colleges liaison diary for next academic year (2018-19). This preparation is partly in response to feedback from teachers and lecturers who’ve told us that it would be helpful to secure dates for Cambridge visits well in advance, and partly to ensure that we at St Catharine's get an early sense of the Cambridge engagements that you would like for your respective institutions.
With this in mind, if you’d like a visit to or from Cambridge in the coming academic year, we’d be grateful if you could fill in this form. Thereafter, we will be in touch with more information, including, if appropriate, a suggested date and time for your requested visit.
During a visit from St Catharine's, we normally spend an hour on each session we deliver. The key purpose of such visits is to provide information about Cambridge in particular and Higher Education in general, with specially tailored sessions for year 12/13 students considering applying. We work mainly with students at Key Stages 4 and 5, though we're very happy to deliver sessions which involve parents and/or teachers too. Our sessions are always focused on the needs of the audience and we're willing to discuss more specific provision upon request.
