Gooderson Memorial Fund

Founded in 1983, the Gooderson Memorial Fund was subscribed by friends and pupils of the late Dr RN Gooderson, Fellow of the College and Director of Studies in Law, to assist members of the College preparing to become barristers or solicitors or commencing legal practice. Final-year undergraduate and graduate students, as well as graduates of the College, may apply for an award from the Fund. Awards are made on the basis of financial need, academic merit, and a demonstrable interest in a career in Law.

The application form may be downloaded here, and any supporting documentation must be received by the Director of Studies in Law (Part II) by 30 April for consideration in that academic year. Awards are ordinarily announced in June. Awards for current students are contingent upon the successful completion of their course.
