College loans (interest free)

Background

Students can apply to funding to temporarily cover exceptional financial need, which is repaid to the College within a pre-agreed period.

Loans are normally limited to a value of £500 each year, but this can be extended when there is evidence that students can comfortably repay a larger amount.

Eligibility

All students are eligible to submit a loan request at any point during the academic year.

Funds can usually be provided by the College within five working days of a successful application being received.
