Background

The College offers undergraduate hardship bursaries of up to £1,000 annually to help cover living and required course-related expenses.

Eligibility

Bursaries are available to help students who show demonstrable financial hardship which might be due to unforeseen changes in circumstances or required course-related placements. All students are eligible, regardless of fee status.

How to apply

Any application should be first discussed in principle with your tutor or a member of the College’s Health & Wellbeing Team, who will be invited to comment on the application.

Final applications must be submitted by the following deadlines for consideration:

  • 12pm, Friday 15 October
  • 12pm, Friday 19 November

Applications are then reviewed in strictest confidence by the Student Services team and all members of the Tutors Committee.

We aim to let you know the outcome of the Committee’s decision within 10 working days of each deadline. Funding is typically paid within the same period.
