St Catharine's has a lively and active Chapel community that welcomes people from different backgrounds and traditions. I hope getting involved both encourages and challenges you in your faith.
Come and be part of the Chapel community to worship God, to make friends and to help change the world for the better. The Chapel services are open to all, as are the various study and discussion groups or activities that are a part of Chapel life, so do come along or ask me if you have any questions.
The Chapel itself is dedicated as an Anglican* place of worship, but its doors are open to all for prayer or quiet reflection. I hope that you find the Chapel a space in college where you feel welcome, whether you are Christian or not.
Our services draw on the strength of our student and girls’ choirs to offer music from the Anglican choral tradition and beyond, including commissions from contemporary composers. The services range from informal worship opportunities to the traditional and more formal Choral Evensong on Sunday evenings, at which we have a range of guest preachers. You are also welcome to join the Chaplain for Morning and Evening Prayer which are said daily during term time when there aren’t sung services.
