A lasting legacy: a gift in your Will
For more than 500 years, St Catharine’s has been fortunate to benefit from the generosity of many hundreds of Members and friends who have remembered the College in their Will. Their support has resulted in substantial and lasting changes visible throughout College, from scholarship and research funds to resources for the Chapel and Library, and the construction of buildings around Main Court.
You can add to this history by leaving your own lasting legacy for the future. All bequests are given to St Catharine’s College free of tax. Leaving a legacy is something anybody can do and is not complicated. A solicitor will advise how to do this and typically charges around £250.

“The wonderful community in Catz has given me great friends, constant intellectual stimulation and amazing support. Recognising what a huge benefit I have received from the College, I wanted to respond in a practical way by making a bequest in my Will.”
