Benefactors' Garden Party 13 June 2020

We regret to inform you that we have had to cancel this year’s Benefactors' Garden Party, which had been scheduled for Saturday 13 June 2020.

This is one of a series of unprecedented measures that St Catharine’s is implementing in line with Public Health England and the University with regard to our Students, Staff and Fellows to help delay the spread of Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19). It is with sincere regret that the College has let students know that they will not be able to return for the remainder of this academic year and we are in the process of closing many of the College facilities.

We have not taken this decision lightly and are truly sorry for any disappointment and inconvenience this cancellation may cause. Please be assured that the Alumni and Development Office will refund any tickets purchased for this event.

We will of course keep you up to date with the fast moving situation. We are grateful for your understanding at this uncertain time.

We are pleased to welcome all members of the Woodlark Society, current donors, associate members of the St Catharine's College Society and alumni who matriculated in 1960 or before to the annual St Catharine's Garden Party on Saturday 13 June 2020 in College.

This year's event will begin with a talk from Dr John Endicott (1964), Fellow Commoner, Geotechnical Engineer and Executive Director at a global engineering company, AECOM Asia, entitled “Hong Kong 1975 onwards – How Asia Pacific plans to keep moving”. The talk, followed by Q&A, will take place in the McGrath Centre at 11:00am, lasting approximately one hour.

A drinks reception, will be held outside at 12 noon, weather permitting. It will be followed by a buffet lunch in Hall at 12:30pm.

The dress code is summer casual.

Should you wish to bring additional guests, tickets are priced at £20 per person.

Please note that this event is by invitation only.
