Catz Marquee at the Bumps - 15 June 2024

The Alumni and Development Office is delighted to invite members of the College community to join us by the river at Osier Holt in Fen Ditton, to watch the final day of the May Bumps.

The Cambridge Bumps races are an iconic part of the Cambridge experience and date back as early at the 19th Century - read more about the races here.

We will be watching the final day of the Bumps at a special St Catharine's marquee by the river, at Osier Holt in Fen Ditton on Saturday 15 June 2024 from 12 noon (see the location of Osier Holt by clicking here for our map or on Google maps - Green End, Fen Ditton, Cambridge, CB5 8SX).

This year we are very excited to be able to provide a traditional hog roast lunch as part of the event.

A professional catering team will be preparing a whole free range pig which will be slowly roasted over flames and served with freshly made apple sauce, homemade stuffing and crackling and salads.

There will also be a delicious slow simmered jackfruit option for vegetarian and vegan guests.

Tickets include access to the College marquee at a prime riverside location, the hog roast or vegetarian lunch, and afternoon tea. Please book using the form below before midday on Friday 31 May 2024.

Getting to the marquee at Osier Holt

Parking is very limited at Osier Holt, and is accessed through the village's narrow country lanes: so taking an alternative means of transport (cycling, bus, walking) may be preferable. We do have a small number of car parking spaces available to purchase, for £10 per vehicle.

Non-blue badge holders can book their car parking space using the form on this webpage.

Please contact us if you have a blue badge and would like to book a parking space: blue badge spaces are free of charge and will be allocated the closest possible spaces to the College marquee.
